Chris Springfield
Chief Armourbearer
Chief Armorbearer, Christopher Springfield, was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised through myriad experiences as a Servant Leader in multiple states, countries, and continents throughout the world in the United States Army. As a man of compassion and courage, he provides focus and comfort to Bishop R. G. Clark to deliver the Word in sound doctrine without physical distractions. He is a committed, loving husband and deemed "Big Memphis" at EBC Memphis. He also a profound leader in the EBC Music Ministry. He founded the New Generation Mass Choir as a student at DeVry University and earned a Bachelors's in Sports Management from the University of Memphis. His calling of care to others, has led him to advise and spiritually counsel youth at the Citadel Military Academy, Young Life Memphis, and the Hickory Hill Community Center. His constant passion for serving the souls of others led to his Master's in Christian Studies from Union University. He is a Clinical Counselor and a Chaplain. He strengthens Bishop R. G. Clark through Word and deed as his Head Armorbearer, just as Jonathan's armorbearer spoke in 1 Samuel 14:7, "Do all that you have in mind. Go ahead; I am with you heart and soul."
